I thought she was mute the first 3 months after I brought her home from the pound. I never once heard a sound from her. Then we moved in with Linda and Cindi, the little fat poodle. :) I'm not being mean, it's the truth, she has a thyroid condition, the poodle. . . not Linda. Anyway, Cindi was the barkingist dog if their ever was one. Well, living with Cindi I guess Mia found her voice.
She sometimes barks, but usually it is a scream. I mean it sounds like I'm freekin beaten her. And when were out on walks that's how people look at me. Then their stares turn to looks of bewilderment as they realize that is just Mia's normal vocalization. * * * * * I can't get Auntie Mame out of my head. When I close my eyes I see visions of Rosalind Russell descending that great staircase. I want one of those in my house so I can float down it too. *grin* WE ALL FALL DOWN
