The blob of what I thought was just dry cleaning in my closet, that was threatening to automate into a fully conscious entity at any moment, has been conquered, I now have an estimated 20 loads of laundry to do. I did find some favorite fashion items that I thought the gremlins had stolen, like my black, rayon, terry cloth vest with the 1/2 inch nap. I think I'll wear it with khaki's to meet jean today.
