wanting to cry, being born into the world, and even a bit cocky.
Thursday, May. 09, 2002 @ 10:32 p.m.

I've been born out into the world.

Cast out from my creative womb of the last 5 months, ending this evening with the last of my classes at the Glassel School of Fine Arts at the MFA Houston.

I felt something mildly like the first stirrings of an anxiety attack, and then I just wanted to cry.

I still might.

We-- we were becoming such a little colony of learners. And we were all so intellectual about our works.

The critiques were the BEST.

LOVED participating in critiques.

So, the plan.

The only jewelry class offered this Summer is an open studio class.

But really, I mean COME ON what is better then an open studio.

I'm soooooooooo going to lap this up.

I'll give myself the assignments, and blow them away with my design sensibilities. *yes i'm feeling a bit cocky, but I'm just repeating sentiments my professors have expressed in the past*

*****

Sigrid, the worlds best drawing instructor, wanted to know where my purse was in my Self portraits this evening. LOL

I turned in my diary with my sketchbooks. SHE ACTUALLY READ THEM. It would have been a great object to have added. Something to think about for next time.
