Act II;Scene II in which old lovers are reunited in the spirit of friendship, only to find out that their lives are more intertwined then ever.

Act II;Scene II in which old lovers are reunited in the spirit of friendship, only to find out that their lives are more intertwined then ever. So, this morning, as I mentioned in my previous entry Lowell, of hot fudge sunday sex fame, and other entries, asks me to go to dinner with him next week. It sounded like a grand plan. Kuinileti, maybe he wasn't blowing me off that time I asked him to go to dinner after we transitioned from whatever we were to the friends I think we most likely are now.

Any way.

Back to the dinner Theater. So, I get home this evening, and am checking mail before I go get my massage *I know you are SOOO green with envy, even those of you that love me.* When Lowell messages me and wants to know If I want to go eat. Of course, i'm not going to turn down company in this city, where I can now count 2 friends on my big hand. *luckily i'm making some acquaintances that may become friends.* Possibly Lowell is going to prove himself the friend I suspect he can be. Anyway, I sooooooooo have NOT gotten to the meat of this story.

Yeah, the important stuff.

So.

Lowell tells me that he has met somebody and mentions that he lives in monarchsforest, a local suburb, and that his name is, drum roll please, CURTIS-- can you fucking believe it? Yep, the one and the same. My face blanched, and I so wanted to cry, my eyes got teary a bit they really did. But Lowell was such a sweet heart, and without me saying a word realized something was terribly wrong. I guess he really does care about me. I explained that after we had dated I had fallen in love with Curtis, and that he had broken up with me with little clue as to why. I was good and didn't bad mouth him. Lowell got a little glimmer in his eye, almost a "I'm going to make him pay." glimmer. Really, I felt ill at the initial shock of it all. I didn't even want my dinner, but Lowell was so warm and fun, and just being good at being a friend, that really it all ended up being just fine. Lowell dropped me off, and as I climbed in my truck he said, "I can't wait to push Curtis' buttons about this, I'm glad we haven't actually met yet, no worries bud."

Can I just say, I soooooooo think, this mornings 'you reap what you sow' comment, so belongs to Curtis today.

At the moment I'm feeling a bit karmicly gratified.

I'm also feeling that Lowell needs my shining star award for today. My kids won't miss it for a day. :)
