morning dribble
Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002 @ 6:30 a.m.

I went to bed EARLY by practically anyone's standards last night. I believe the clock said 8:20 when I was crawling into bed with my favorite orange sweatshirt on and heating pad for my back in tow. The result being that I woke up this morning just ahead of my alarm feeling rested, awake, and alert. I love that, as apposed to starting my day feeling interupted, groggy, and as if my nerve fibers are not conducting the way they should be, stilted and resistant to the impulses passing through them.

My coffee this morning, the first non-single origin brew I've drank in a couple of years, is just yummy, except I've had to rewarm it twice this morning. I guess I just have not been focused on it. Even now there is barely a dent in it, and needs rewarming again. (I'll be right back)

I'm thinking of taking a 10 week writer's workshop starting in January. It's through an organization called Inprint, you can see there webpage which is supposed to be updated today, here. The adds on NPR keep saying it is a tuition free fiction workshop for teachers but really when I called they are doing Poetry. Bleh. Poetry = intimidation in my book. I'm thinking I'm just going to have to get over it. it is FREE after all.

Oh bother! It is time for me to get going and do that thing called work.
