6 months feast
Saturday, March 22, 2003 @ 2:59 p.m.

Well, I went shopping for the groceries for Sam and I's dinner. In addition to the green curried shrimp (one of Corazon's favorites I might add) I'm also making Chu Chee Ta Lay curry, I'm either going to put it over some of the shrimp or go and get some bay scallops. It's a special red curry, completely different from gang dang, the typical Thai curry, I've never been able to get it here in Houston or EVER Seen it on a restaurants menu, other then, Lemongrass in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Anyway, I also bought a small red snapper and am going to broil him and serve him with my special Thai dipping sauce. Fish sauce with lime juice and lots of garlic, Thai chili, and cilantro. YUM. Really he should be fried, but the curries are already going to be sooooo rich, and well broiling is healthier and, um, easier. I'm also making a vegetable side dish of Chinese longbeans in a simple brown sauce.

This afternoon I have worked a little bit more on the diary layout. I've linked some of the links, and started collecting links for my "Madrigle's kitchen" section. I thought I had typed more recipes in the diary then I had, unless I just didn't put it in the titles. Anyway, a bare bones cookbook might soon be linked there.

All right, this feast won't get made if I don't start cooking.

Love to you.
