Um, hi.

I've been working HARD to get ready for this trip since 8:00 this morning. I just finished packing, mostly. I still have to clean out my bag that serves as my briefcase.

All of this 20 hours from when I started.

I mean a huge chunk of the time was prepairing 4 days worth of material for a substitute.

Complicated by the xerox machine at work konking out at a mere third of the way through on me. I finished at copy.com. $64 later I had a sizable amount of seat work ran off for my kids. I better not hear any complaints from my assistant principal when I get back about not leaving enough work to keep my room busy with a substitute.

My kids are so going to freek. They don't do much work in the way of copied stuff. I do a lot a project centered stuff with them instead.

Anyway, that is a tangent.

So yeah, 20 hours later I think I'm ready to leave and a good thing too, cause my alarm is set for me to get up in twenty-one minutes.

Sam is watching Mia for me while I'm gone. They have bonded so well. Yay. I adore that man.

The people I'm going with are wanting to drive up the coast highway tomorow evening. I'm thinking that sounds grand, I just hope I have the ooompf left in me after NO sleep. I hope I can sleep on the plane without drooling on myself. That would just be gross, and well, embarassing.
