So, while The Guru movie isn't perfect I really dug it's quirkiness, and snappy Hindi dance music. The Guru is a cute flick about this Indian dance instructor [Jimi Mistry] who follows his childhood dream to go to America and become a star. America isn't all that it's cracked up to be, but never the less he soon finds himself to be a star of sorts. Along the way Sharona, [Heather Graham] a porn star, guides him to greatness, and he unwittingly helps Marisa Tomei's character find her own way in the world. Their are lots of brilliantly timed cutaways to FANTASTICLY lavish Baliwood style dance sequences that just make me smile! If your wanting to watch something other then the mainstream, I'd say definitely give it a go. OH yeah! Don't you just love my little weather pixie down in the left hand corner? Click on her and you can get your own too. I wanted a boy pixie, but they were all rather twinkish, and that's just not my style. I rather like the little Geisha anyway. :) WE ALL FALL DOWN
