The landscape is grey for as far as the eye can see.
A fine mist fills the air, obscurring objects in the near distance.
In my cup is a fine Costa Rican Decaf and a square of belgian callebeut dark chocolate. It's deep, and a bit sweet, and warm as it penetrates my insides.
I havn't seen Habibi this weekend on this our anniversary. His mom arrived from Lebanon. I volunteered a moving of our romantic celebrations. Even with that. I feel a bit melancholy. Perhaps the weather? Perhaps, my heart longing to be with him. Either way my cup of brew is soothing, and just seems right, in a hollywood kinda way. I think I would be happier if I didn't equate life to how it is in the movies, atleast I'm aware I do it. The socialogist in me pipes up and asks myself if that is how I REALLY feel, or is this some Hollywood bullshit that has inserted itself into my perceptions.
I'm going back to my cup of joe, and my laundry.
