My anchor stone.
Sunday, Feb. 06, 2005 @ 1:32 p.m.

hmmm. I've had a nasty case of the flue for the last week or so. So I didn't manage to get to the coffee house last weekend or update for that matter.

Alls quiet on the western front, as it were.

I took a huge amount of clothes to buffalo exchange yesterday to get some cash. They rejected them all. I'm evidently no longer the fashion maiven I once prided myself on being.

Moving to Albuquerque seems to be rooting itself in my reality more solidly. I've been going through all my clutter and severely pruning from my possessions. I've got rid of soooo much junk and accumulated clutter but good lord there is still so much to do.

When my fever was particularly high last week and thus I was feeling even more emotional then usual I called Corazon and confessed (cried) to her answering machine how much I hate it here and that I can't hardly stand the fact that I have to be here for the next couple of months atleast.

Habibi wants to have tea this afternoon. The first time I will have seen him in atleast 2 weeks. Maybe 3. I find myself questioning what the point of seeing him is. It's all crazy in my brain and conflicted and bitter-- His Christmas present is still at my apartment. Still sitting on top of my tv sinse new years weekend. Now it's nearly valentines day and I don't know whether I should bother going through the motions for that damnable day or not. All I know is that Corazon and Albuquerque are my anchor stone right now and without having Albuquerque and living closer to Corazon to look forward to I'd be completely lost and bobbing about hopelessly and this emotionally turbulant heart of mine.

hugs.
