paint plate spinning
Wednesday, Sept. 07, 2005 @ 5:13 p.m.

The planned sequestering of myself away for the weekend to paint is slowly getting chipped away, bit by boulder sized chunck, by bit.

Corazon and I have not spent nearly enough time together, so I lept at the idea of spending a large part of Sunday with her.

I just remembered that I have to take a class on Friday, for LEP training. . . I'm sure my brother is going to need more help.

James and I want to try things again. I'd really like to see him.

but all told, it dosn't seem like there is going to be very much time for painting, let alone any sequestering of myself away from the rest of the world to devote to it. My hermit of a life in Houston was perfect for making art. I'm not achieving balance well here. It will happen, I just feel like I'm spinning plates right now, and the painting plate is the one that has crashed and skidded across the floor. Thank God, it didn't shatter and I should be able to pick up the plate again at somepoint and get it spinning along with the others. Preferably like yesterday.

Hugs.
