tangent much?
Friday, Sept. 23, 2005 @ 6:10 p.m.

I've calmed down about my friends in Houston. Rita is most likely going enough to the East of Houston to put the city on the drier side of things. I've talked to Habibi many times since each time feeling a bit better about it all. I've talked a lot to Mrs. Fluff too. She's haggard but has lived on the gulf coast long enough to know how to effectively roll with the punches. Anyway. Work is going well. Painting is going well. I'm having a sibling reunion this weekend out at my brothers house. My sister is coming up. Were spending the weekend painting the inside of his gorgeous house. I feel like I'm going to a barn raising. It's nice to get in touch with our Amish roots. Grandma Snyder was supposedly shunned for marrying my great, great grandfather. Although, my Granduncle Earnest, who used to brush her hair every evening as a little boy said that she told him that she came over from Ireland with Grandpa Miles as the nanny for his children and later married him when his first wife died. So who knows. I just don't think Snyder sounds like a very Irish sir name, but maybe she was married before and this is basically first hand oral history account from my uncle Earnest. So who knows. Craziness. love to you.
