My baby is sick.
Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006 @ 1:35 p.m.

Mia is very sick. She vomited all night long. I thought she was better this morning, but she's getting dehydrated and has resumed the vomiting. I have a appointment later at the animal hospital. She's so strange. I've rushed her to the vets before only to find that she's constipated, or some other rather mundane ailment. She really looks bad though. I may have to call in to work tomorrow, I don't want to leave her like this. Oy.

I must admit that scifi is probably my favorite genre of movies. Having said that, I'm the first to admit that most of them suck. So I was pleasantly suprised to find myself enjoying Underworld: Evolution so much last night. Sure, there were lame points like a 1,200 year disconnect in the time line, but ehh, you have to be willing to forgive things like that in this genre I find. Anyway. Yeah it was nice, and I enjoyed the company. I'm discovering here that I can actually spend an evening surrounded by gay men and still have a good time. I've been one who thinks a mixed crowd is more fun, and still do. But, well, it's rewarding to findout that there ARE gay men out there who are actually pleasant to be around in social situations.

Three versions of the central panel for the oort cloud tryptic are blossoming in the studio today. 30 by 40 inch panels that display the same scene in vertical, horizontal, and diagonal, compositions.
