So, soaking in a hot bath is a luxury I don't often allow myself. Thursday night was a different story. Anyway, there I was soaking in the tub, finishing Alexander McCall Smith's, #1 ladies detective agency, when I looked down to my nether regions and saw it. A rather wirey hair was protruding from my patch. I reached down and plucked the oddball hair. I kid you not, the suker was a good four inches long! Whathefuck?!? First my eyebrows start freeking out and now this.

Sheesh.

The paintings are coming along nicely. I'm still adoring white. I've gone through an entire quart of polymer medium this week. I'm so glad I buy that stuff by the gallon. It's expensive enough as it is in that quantity, but a LOT more if you buy it by the quart. The white is incredible, the vivid colors being slipped behind a seductive veil. I'm loving it. I thought the petroglyph national monument panels were hopeless, but they are coming to life. They are becoming favorites. I pulled out a unfinished panel over a year old, it's misty colors, evidence of an earlier flirtation with white, grey violets over stronger blues. It's always looked rather pond like to me, after seeing Zuzu's photos I remembered it and got it out with hopes of water lillies springing from it's surface.

So, hmm, no word from Joel today. I'm feeling more and more like yesterday was a good old fashioned brush-off. Sigh.
