I'm in love with my home, a land of contrasts.

Billowing dark clouds croud our gorgeous blue skies of late. Gray curtains of virga float down, torents of rain evaporating before it hits the parched desert below.

A ribbon of verdant green winds it's way through the valley. A swath of cottonwood forest that follows the path of the river. This green, so shocking to the eye, surrounded by the rusets and overexposed hues of the surrounding desert.

Perched on high one can watch the so dark shadows of clouds, islands of cool, float across the valley from west to east.
