Hmm, I think I need a change of layout around here, or atleast picture and colors.

I had a brainstorm yesterday about painting some realistic stuff. A lot of realistic stuff throughout history, has been achieved by use of aids like a camera obscura or more modernly a projector is used to cast the image onto the working surface and then the artist brings life to the image in paint. My professors in college were all about this, there point of view was, why spend days on the drawing, when you can spend a couple of hours with the aid of a projector and get right to the painting. So, yeah, my idea is to use a photo I have, turn it into a black and white, desaturate the shadows to a point so they are pale print the image and do a acrylic photo transfer onto my working surface, then use the black and white as a sort of grisaille underpainting of sorts.

Anyway, I have to get up and go start creating.
