Well, it's happened. Less then a month till my self-imposed deadline of gaining gallery representation within two years of moving to Albuquerque, I've gone and gained representation from what might prove to be The City Different's hottest new contemporary arts gallery. It's directly on the historic Santa Fe Plaza and scheduled to open it's doors on June 1, just in time for the summer rush of art collectors that flock to The City Different from all over the world. $eraphim $tudios will feature artists working in traditional manners with digital painting tools, as well as traditional painters like myself using traditional materials in a contemporary manner.
YAY!
Teaching has been a good gig. I've served my debt to society. I'm so ready to move on to grander, artful, pursuits. (pardon my wishful, hopeful thinking :) With such a energetic young gallery owner with great connections managing my work I'm sure it will happen much more quickly then even I could hope for. City Different, here I come!
