While I was painting this morning it popped into my head that it IS time to construct the large central panel for my Oort Cloud: The Creation triptych. In this split second nudge from God I also realized the perfect way to find a altar for them would be to enter them in the Juried State Fair Show next year. I'm a bit miffed. The New Mexico State fair arts are arranged by ethnic groups, partially. The Hispanic arts show this past year was Awe inspiring. Quiet simply room after room after room of VERY high quality art. Now I do have some hispanic heritage but it's many generations back, hailing from Toledo, Spain. Unfortunately I'll get lumped into the general arts group. Now there are some exceptionally strong pieces in that show too, but it did NOT have the overall feel of quality that the hispanic arts pavillion exuded. At any rate. It will be exposure. So much more to say BUT that thing called work that pays the bills for now is upon me. Hugs. WE ALL FALL DOWN
