My workplace is ridiculously insane.
Friday, Mar. 07, 2008 @ 9:28 a.m.

Deep Breath.

I don't even know where or how to start.

The staff at the school I'm working at are getting death threats-- So, yeah, school was closed today out of concerns for safety. Evidently another teacher had to call child protective services because of something that a child confided to her . . . Mind you this is me just piecing the story together as I really haven't heard anything from the horses mouth other then the whole, we are closed today because of death threats, bit.

So, here I am in a busy restaurant, the crazy person crying in the corner cause my Dr. is out of town until Monday and I can't get anything for the anxiety. I literally started crying over the phone as the nurse was telling me to go to urgent care if I had a severe anxiety attack, thanked her for her time and went back to assuming my role as the crazy person sitting in the corner, crying. My server nervously asking, "Are you OK?" and visibly breathing a sigh of relief when I choose to say, "Yah, I'm fine. Thank you." instead of burdening her with my troubles.

Some rich art collectors from Texas saw my small paintings I have at a bead shop in Santa Fe and set up an appointment to come look at bigger pieces at my studio today before their plane flies out of the Albuquerque Airport, today. Great. Finally an opportunity to develop a relationship with some collectors and I look like I'm about to go all Van Gogh and send a piece of flesh to past love interests.

Maybe that will drive my prices up even more in their mind. Look dear, we got a great painting AND the artist is a most tragically insane fellow, too! I can't wait to tell Becca and Dotty about our Santa Fe adventure. LOL.

They probably won't even show. I get the feeling they are flakes anyway.
