Fossil Rim
Wednesday, June 13th, 2001 @ Evening

I'm sitting here on a rustic stone step listening to song birds and watching the breeze rustle through the trees and bend the waves of grass.

Sand hill cranes meander their way down to the watering whole making the most interesting trumpeting call I have ever heard as they do.

A snowy white heard of atiks flows down out of a canyon and down to the waters edge.

A heard of 7 giraffe spread their stilt like legs apart to allow their graceful necks to reach down to the refreshing water.

I will never forget my night spent at fossil rim wild animal park, and the amazing photo safari the next day.
