Notting Hill
Sunday, June 3rd, 2001 @ 11:00 pm

So I'm of the opinion that "Notting Hill" is just about the best movie ever made.

I can't express to you how much I love this movie. I finally broke down and bought it a couple of weeks ago, and I would probably be a bit embarrased to admit how many time it has been watched since then. It's brilliant, and I love that it is more from the guys point of view. Probably why I like it so much I guess.

And another thing, I know I was saying this to you the other day Mal, but I am totally of the opinion that Julia Roberts is our generations Hepburn.

I mean the lady is just brilliant!

Love her style!

I know Corazon, it really doesn't fit into the genre of my typical favorite movies. A genre we coined as ugly duckling' movies. Movies like Circle of friends' and Truth about cats and dogs'

Not that I'm that the actresses in those flicks are ugly at all! If I was straight I think I would be honored to go out with either of them.

In these movies though the main characters are not viewed as being umm, lets say classicly beautiful, but as their personalities light up and they let themselves become whole and beautiful human beings their true inner beauty becomes evident to themselves and to their romantic interests. Of course they end up with their wonderful leading men. :)

Oih! I had more I wanted to say, but I'm tired.
