I'm enjoying a blissful day off.

I began thinking of art and artists nearly as soon as I had taken my mornings first waking breath.

I had waking dreams of being older and wiser. An accomplished art jeweler. Being at court, bestowing baubles upon crowned heads, being lauded as this new centuries Faberge, having workshops in Nappa, Abiquiu, and D.C.

I realize this is ego rearing it's head, but I"m comfortable with that, really.

I became aware this morning of a sublime sensation. One I have often experienced, but never really pondered.

The sensation of slipping your body into a hot bath that is very nearly too hot to tolerate. Easing your body in slowly, inch by pleasing inch, nearly causing a momentary orgasm to erupt over the surface of your skin.
