for me?
Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002 @ 10:50 a.m.

When I got to my uncles house, I ended up with more inherited furniture then I originally was told I would be recieving.

His much larger t.v. then mine is now in my living room. It seems huge for this room although I suppose is is not really that much bigger then my original 19 incher. In addition to the oak office furniture, which was just gorgeous by the way, I also inherited his mother's living room suit. A 1940's martini furiture set, I'm told by my cousin Lisa, his daughter who is impeccably hip, and forever just North of beyond cool city, in my eyes, and model/grace kelly beauty if there ever was one on this earth, on top of it all. (I'm not EVEN going to count how many commas I used liberally and incorrectly in that last sentence, but I think in run on so why shouldn't I type in runon?) Oh, yeah, so it's martini furniture according to Lisa, to me it looks like a blending of midcentury moderns low slung sensibility, with elements of empire or classic something something. The pieces are low slung and upolstered in fab white on white brocade. The endtables are what I would call swedish home, with wood tops and white bottoms in a classic style. Anyway, they are in a store room in Deming for now, till I can get a u-haul and drag them out here. It will all come together at somepoint i'm sure.

There is a suprise waiting for me in the mail room. I hope it sings to me in a seducing consuming voice.

Love to you.
