Crap, my lungs hurt. Habibi has convinced me to stay home from work tomorrow and to go into my doctor for a chest x-ray. He hasn't said as much, but I think he thinks I have pneumonia.

I went to the emergency room last Tuesday cause I had called my doctor to tell her that my chest hurt when I was breathing in. I guess she was worried about my heart, I wasn't I knew it was something lung related. The dashingly handsome, even if somewhat callous, Dr. Bodin dismissed the EKG out of hand, as did I, and stated my symptoms were consistent with a viral respiratory infection. Habibi, was mad that he didn't do a chest x-ray then or do a culture or something. He said there was no way he could know that it was viral. By Friday, the raw sensation in my lungs was back and Habibi got M to prescribe me a antibiotic. So here it is today and the raw/burning pain in my lungs has now localized onto my right side, and shhh I haven't told anyone else, it's worse and feels heavy and achy. bleh.

So, yeah, tomorrow I'm to go in and let my doc do what she needs to do. It's all kinda sucky really. It's really NOT a good time to be ordered to bed rest or any such crap. The feds will be at school in seven working days. I'm sure some of the shit that will hit the fan will land squarely at my feet, even though the shit rightfully belongs to Mr. Fluff. Whatever.
