Well part of what I did while I was home for a month in my small, dusty, home town of Deming, NM was a whole lot of painting. My sister owns a print of a painting by Gary Earnest Smith, Egg Gathering. Several years ago, during the move to El Paso, it was severely damaged. She couldn't bare to part with the image as it is a favorite of hers. So it's resided in her attic storage for the last 10 years, at least. She must have just asked me at the right time or something, or as my Mom put it, "What Jacqueline wants Jacqueline gets from that kid." (I over heard her talking on the phone.) Yeah, so that's not an entirely untrue statement from my Mom. My sister and I have always held a special affinity towards one another. Anyhow, here it is. Egg Gathering, after the masterful work of Gary Earnest Smith.
