James said, "It's the closest thing you'll ever feel to touching the face of God." While that's a bit blasphemous for my own take on things, I'll whole heartedly agree that it was the most intimate thing I've ever done in my life. Absolutely mind blowing. I can't stop thinking about it . . . ever. It's always there, the background to the rest of my thoughts. I wake up, and there it is in my brain, still warm and pulsating with his heartbeat. I can still feel him, a day and half later and I still feel so connected. I think pieces of us have been left with each other and that makes me very content.
