huh, I'm thinking panel 1 is really close to being finished, Ive been scraping thick glazes on and pouring paint on all this week. I'm not quiet happy with the value shifts in the piece yet though, but I have to let it clarify for a while to make sure. I'm ready for the second panel.... the under painting is, well I love it so much (not as a completed piece) that's it's going to be hard to start dumping and smearing paint upon it. Really, it's hard to do without having the third panel around. I have it in my head, but still . . . I'm not feeling in touch with my construction alter ego, nor do I feel like hauling two sheets of plywood home on top of the Honda. Anyway.

I got my back pay yesterday. WOOHOO, straight into the savings account. Although I do need to have some things done on the car, need a pair of shoes, as all the ones I have are a minimum of a year old and usually much, much older, and some slacks for work. Thank God for GAP clearance racks and Marshalls.

I'm meeting Corazon for lunch. What a luxury. I love living in the same city as my dear friend.
