shrooming.
Thursday, Dec. 08, 2005 @ 8:33 p.m.

Zuzu, I started painting the shrooms this evening. I'm doing two of the same view of rain 1. I cropped it into a square off of the upper left side to fit the square panels I had ready to go. The rectangles I purchased for this arent quiet ready, errr well the gesso, isn't cured enough. I'm experimenting. I've vaselated so much with this project, one moment I was going to plunk down major mullah for a projector for the image and try for some photorealism with these, but that kind of detail makes me go cookoo, so I cropped them into even more of a macro view and started in strait away with the paints. It's more liberating that way anyways. And I'm NOT horrible at drawing. Anyways, starting these was quiet the rush and I think will prove the perfect foil to my creation panels. I've needed something to take my mind off the vastness of that project and it's so tedious, pour and then wait for a couple of days before I'm able to apply more paint. These will be fast and fun.
Hugs.
