White, or all I can think about today is getting kissed again. I so want another kiss. Ok, lots and lots of them. Hours of them.

Oh my gosh, I need to get kissed like that more often!

I've just stepped out of the studio after three hours of solid painting. THREE hours! I mean usually I add a layer, do a pour which takes all of 30 minutes, max, and then have to walk away for hours. The dry time makes me insane at times, but the results are just so worth the thick layers of paint. I've got five, thirty by forty inch panels going. Three studies for the central panel of the Oort cloud tryptich and two from a series based on the color combinations out at the petroglyph national monument.

FINALLY I've developed a love of white. White is probably most painters best friend. Me, I've considered white more my bane. All the sudden I've discovered it's subtle luminosity. I mean I knew the central panel of the Oort cloud Tryptic was going to depend heavily on white, but I've been dreading dealing with it. It always seems to sap the vibrancy out of everything it touches. I don't know, suddenly it seems the most vibrant pigment on my pallet.

Anyway. I love that rush that occurs when your first realizing that your falling for someone. I just hope it's the real deal. I feel SO ready to work on a relationship.

hugs. I've got to go keep painting.
