I bought the cutest moleskin diary the other day, and now I can't find it anywhere. Really that is not uncommon with my paper journals. I'm not especially prolific as a journalist. In the approximately 5,200 days since I started keeping a journal I've only filled 2 paper journals and the several hundred entries here. I love the soothing scratching sound of graphite pencils on paper. I love that typing allows me to get my words out quicker, but I do miss the seduction of the sentual feel of graphite being layed down. Anyway, this entry isn't going anywhere. It's only the 3rd time I've tried writing about this. I'm not deleting this one.
I felt rather guilty calling in sick the last 2 days, but really a fever of 103 dictates that one should stay home snuggled up in bed. Anyway, I'm feeling better and will return to work tomorrow.
