It's been unseasonably warm until last week when we had smatterings of snowfall and rain. They came at a fortuatis time as the small New Mexico towns of Monzano, Tajique, and Punta de Agua were being threatened by a monstrous forest fire. Were going into the weekend and again there is snow, more likely rain, on the horizon and the thing I want more then anything is another day off. A snow day. My nephew John, 16, says I'm worse then my students, he's sure. :) So, Albuquerque celebrated it's tricentinial last year and commissioned a documentary, a gorgeous documentary of the Sandia Mountains. This documentary comes the closest to capturing those golden light days i've so often written about. ... I'll find a link where it can be watched online. Hugs. WE ALL FALL DOWN
