I was born in '64 - my first memories of ABBA was when they performed on "Solid Gold" (everyone remember the Solid Gold dancers!?!) and then making up the dance moves with my sister and we mock-rocked-out (If you change your mind, I'm the first in line! o/~) And later, in my adult life, I have a distinct and very fond memory of walking across the Georgetown University campus in the middle of the night, belting ABBA songs into the summer night sky. I thought Eurasure's Abbaesque virually defined the early '90s and then, you know, the ABBA mock band (what was that called?) But I'm not a big Madonna fan.. so now I feel like I'm left out... er... pout. - Zuzu

Hey James, Glad to see that you got Madonna's latest CD "Confessions on a Dance Floor"! I really love the CD, especially "like it or not". What have you been up to? Your friend in Houston... Eddie

'76? Hee hee, I'm a year older than you. Of course, back when we first heard Abba, this age difference would have been VERY important and I would have felt infinitely superior being older than you. NOW, of course, approaching 30 rapidly, I wish it were the other way around :o) xox
