It's this weekend trip to some ranch, yes it looks really fun, and yes I've been on these workshops before and they are little mini vacations, but I just don't want to go. So she asks, and I tell her, "No, I'm not going." She looks at me with a condescending smirk on her face and mutters, "Well, what will YOU do with your weekend?" As if I am somehow not capable of finding things to do on my weekends. Whatever! I think I stared daggers at her, "My weekends are sacred." I replied in a too smooth voice. "mmmmHmmm..." She says, as if that is a reply. "They are." I go on. "I cook, I draw, I paint, I work on my bonsai." She just looked at me as if I had just told her that I hang out with Mr. Miagi in my spare time, befuddlement written across her face. Some of the other staff members were silently applauding me. I could tell by the looks on there faces. Jane told me later, that she wished she would have learned to say No when she was younger. I quipped, "It's easy for me, my generation grew up on 'Just say NO!' Love to you! WE ALL FALL DOWN
