I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and buy a polarizing filter for my camera to reduce the visible glare on my prints. I'm incorporating interferance pigments into these works, the cutting edge of pigment technology, mica flakes that are coated with verying thicknesses of titatium dioxide,in most cases. These coatings, verying in thickness by only microns, are responcible for the way light refracts off of the pigment particles. So that when viewed from various angles they flash a color, and it's compliment, like the chatoyancy of a cat's eye. So, the interference pigment I'm using flashes violet in one direction and a pale yellow in the other. It's quiet the ethereal effect, but it also trips the camera lens out and produces some rather poor quality images of the actual piece. I'll get the delima solved. I wish I could find a book on solving special photography problems like this for the amateur artist who wishes to take high quality images of their work. Maybe that could be the book I write. Hugs to you. WE ALL FALL DOWN
