hmm. Bailey red-belly is SUCH a boy. I just cleaned his house, not that you can tell. Nigella Red-Belly was neat and tidy. Bailey throws his toys and food all over creation. Routinely poops on me. Nigella potty trained herself. They are as night and day and still I love him. There is something magical, to me, when a bird consents to lay on it's back in your hand curving and arching it's neck so you can scratch that one particular spot under their chin or on the back of their heads. He talks allllllllllll the time. I just can't understand what is being said. Only that it's human speech and not red-belly.

Tomorrow is a short day at work, thank God. It's also the fashion show I'm taking the nieces too. I hope it's fun for them. There will be several dj's and live music etc. I told them it's the closest they are getting to a club till they are 18. I think we will take a cab. I like taking cabs. Maybe it will make it all seem more big cityish to them.

I'm reading the lord of the rings trilogy. I've finally relented, my bookworm buddies are rejoicing, many not taking me seriously that I never read them. I had to read the hobbit for junior English and I didn't find it a very enjoyable read. So far The lord of the rings is completely changing my mind about Tolkien I'm loving it. Although the microscopic, densely packed type of this paper back addition is making me feel old. My plan is to take the camera to the show tomorrow, I've already confirmed that they are allowed. I don't often take pics of people. I'm looking forward to the challenge.
