Feather in my cap
Friday, August 13, 2004 @ 5:51 a.m.

Mmm, I kind of took my cell phone for a swim in the gulf of Mexico last week. It turns on now, but spouts gobbledygook on it's screen rather then actually functioning properly after it's leisurely dip. Bastard. And of course I was only eligible for a small discount at my provider as my contract is not up till November. Anyhow, after much grief and copious hours spent on the phone with good intentioned, mostly very helpful tech support my new Nokia 6800 is functioning as my modem, and I'm happily connected to the internet once again. Will someone PLEASE *batting my eyes* instruct me on what the code looks like for links that open a separate browser window rather then opening the link on the original window. I can't find this in the places I've looked and my personal Samoan Samoan Princess and Personal HTML Guru is currently between assignments in Utah and L.A. and I wont be in contact with her for a bit longer.

Well, I'm going back to school. I applied for a scholarship at the Glassell Studio School at the Glassell School of Fine Arts here in Houston, TX. Last week I found out I'm the lucky recipient of a scholarship for the tuition on 3 credit hours. I'm paying for an additional class on my own. So on the week of August 23, I'll be beginning class. Art is becoming my life. I like it that way.
