I was eight, my father had taken me and my mom to Santa Fe on a business trip for PNM, and we were staying at the hilton, near the plaza. We had been strolling around, and were in that wonderful book store. It's still there. Can't remember the name, in later years I'd find my wonderfully illustrated secret garden there. Anyways, we had JUST walked out onto the street, we bumped into Senator Smith and his wife, and dad was talking to him. That's when it happened. I don't know what it was, or why, but it just took hold of me, standing in the middle of the street there, and I knew, KNEW, I had to live there someday. I don't know why I'm writing this. It just came to me. And I wanted to put it down. Hugs. WE ALL FALL DOWN
